Local Service

Local service provides unlimited calling within your own telephone exchange and certain other nearby exchanges. A telephone exchange is the first three digits of your phone number following the 603 area code.

Regional Service

Regional calls, also referred to as local toll calls, are calls made to someone outside your immediate local calling area. We offer two regional calling plans:

• Call Around 603
  Call Around 603 is an in-state long distance calling plan for business customers. All calls between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:59 p.m. are given a 33% discount. It also provides your business with 60 minutes of toll-free calling anywhere within the 603 area code between the hours of 5:00 p.m. to 7:59 a.m. Monday through Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday for just $6.00 per month. Each additional minute is only 9.5¢. In addition, you will receive an anniversary discount that waives the monthly rate once annually. There is no charge to add this service.
• Call Around 603 Plus
  Call Around 603 Plus Plan is an in-state long distance calling plan with no time of day restrictions for residential customers only. It provides you with 60 minutes of toll calling to anywhere within the 603 area code for just $7.00 per month. Each additional minute is only 9¢ per minute, 24 hours a day. In addition, you will receive an anniversary dis­count that waives the monthly rate once annually. There is no charge to add this service. 

Long Distance Service

Any call placed to a location outside your local and regional calling area is considered a long distance call. This includes in-state, state-to-state, and international calls. We offer competitive in-state and out-of-state rates and local customer service. Plus, all of your calls will be itemized on one bill - your regular monthly Granite State Communications bill.

  Stop worrying about how many minutes you have left on your calling plan with our unlimited long distance service. Call anywhere within the continental US for one low monthly fee.* Plans are available stand-alone or as part of a bundle with our home phone service and high speed Internet service. • Blocks of Calling Minutes (300, 500, 1000)
  Choose the number of calling minutes that suits you best – blocks of 300, 500, and 1,000 anytime minutes are available. Call anyone, anytime, within the continental US, and talk as long as you want for one low rate. Plans are available stand-alone or as part of a bundle with our home phone service and high speed Internet service. Call today for rates and help choosing the best plan for you.
• 10¢ Plan
  You’ll pay a low rate of 10¢ per minute for all calls within the continental US. Call anyone, anytime, 24/7 and talk as long as you want for one low rate. There is a low fee per month of $4.95 for this plan.
• 15¢ Plan
  You’ll pay a low rate of 15¢ per minute for all calls within the continental US. Call anyone, anytime, 24/7 and talk as long as you want for one low rate. There is NO per month fee for this plan.
• Gold Plan
  The more you call, the more you save. Receive an 11% discount on bills under $9.99 and a 26% discount on bills $10 and over. Get an automatic 10% discount on all in-state long distance calls. This plan is for calls within the continental US.

* The unlimited long distance calling plan is intended for normal residential domestic usage, not unlimited dial-up access, home monitoring services, commercial facsimile, auto-dialing, telemarketing or other non-residential uses. Any such usage may be charged at a rate of 15¢ per minute.
