THANK YOU to everyone who joined us this past weekend for our Customer Appreciation events! Friday we invited our local business customers to join us for a delicious lunch provided by local restaurants: Dimitri’s Pizzeria and Just Like Mom’s Pastries. Kimberly Landry, from Landry & Associates, spoke about tax saving strategies for the small business owner. Barbara Cocci, Executive Vice President of Cocci Computer Services, gave a presentation all about Disaster Preparedness for small businesses from an IT perspective.
Then on Saturday we had a great turnout for our Customer Appreciation Open House. More than 300 people stopped by our Customer Service office in Weare for the festivities! We had entertainment from Mad Science, balloon art from Simplicity the Clown, locally made goodies, food, and fun! Thank you to everyone who came out!
Here are a few photos from both events!

Barb Cocci highlights the different options available to help you protect your data from various disasters. Kim Landry also went over tips to help small business owners at tax time—like considering all financial aspects of your small business.

A big thank you to the local vendors who came out for the day! We had a great turnout.

It was our pleasure to present David Hewey, Sr., with our Hometown Hero award this year. Mr. Hewey was nominated by the Weare Selectman for his continued contributions to the town of Weare. He is pictured here alongside (from left to right) Chief Robert Vezina, Weare Fire Department; Susan Rand King, President of Granite State Communications; Naomi Bolton, Weare Town Administrator; and Vice Chairmen Thomas Clow, of the Weare Board of Selectman.

David Hewey, Sr., is a long-time resident of Weare. He has been a member of the Weare Fire Department since 1988, and worked tirelessly for the Weare Highway Department from 1995 through his retirement 2010. He helped build the concession stand at the John Stark Football Field in 2008, and in his spare time today he mows the lawn for St. Theresa’s Church in Henniker. In the winter months, he shovels snow and sands the walkways at the Town Office and Town Hall. He also finds time to perform maintenance work for the town’s Safety Complex.

Jet Stream Jocelyn, the Mad Scientist, edu-tained the crowd with her dazzling science tricks!

Simplicity the Clown was a big hit with her balloon twisting! From batman to rainbows, penguins, and aliens, it seemed as though she could make ANYTHING!
