Be Safe With Dig Safe

Spring is here! Now’s the time to begin that building project you’ve been waiting to start. Before you do, remember to call Dig Safe® at 811. Dig Safe® is a nonprofit organization that works in partnership with New Hampshire public utilities to clearly identify underground facilities throughout the state.

Anyone wishing to complete excavation work (except in emergency situations) is required by law to contact Dig Safe®. You must provide three business days’ notice. Dig Safe® will notify member utility companies of your proposed excavation projects. In turn, these member utilities will visit your work area and identify and locate underground facilities. There is no charge for this service.
